READER ACCOUNT NOTICE · 10 OCTOBER 2026
A private place to read.
The service
The Reader desk is free. New profiles include a 30-day limited decision worksheet preview. Individual membership (US$15/month or US$150/year) opens the full three-resource kit through a separately chosen recurring Stripe subscription. The preview never converts automatically. Newsletter registration and voluntary support are separate.
Identity and records
ChatGPT handles sign-in. The portal receives a verified account identifier and email for identity and display; WTM never receives your password. It stores your identifier, chosen name, reading interests, acceptance date, saved books, notes and campaign labels attached to the signup link. Profiles and notes are private to the signed-in account and are not used as public testimonials or campaign content.
Billing and preview records
Stripe processes payments and stores payment methods. WTM stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, payment access dates and notification identifiers to manage membership. Your original preview start date remains linked to the account identifier after profile deletion so recreating an account does not restart the preview. Billing records are retained as needed for service administration and payment obligations; contact WTM for a deletion or retention enquiry. WTM does not store card details.
Your control
Export or delete your records on the Profile page. Deletion removes the portal profile and saved notes; it does not change your ChatGPT account, newsletter or Stripe subscription. Avoid confidential client information and sensitive personal details in notes.
Content and availability
Selections are editorial judgement. Research-based reading notes and publisher previews are labelled, and promise no particular personal or professional outcome. Third-party book copyright remains with the respective rights holders. Free services may evolve; paid terms and renewal intervals appear on the membership page and Stripe checkout.
